Adding a new task is as easy as typing one line of text and hitting return. But if you need to capture more information you can assign any number of tags, a due date and even additional notes. Your tasks are a few clicks away from wherever you are on the Internet.
The tag- and date-based views let you sift and separate your tasks into whichever ways make most sense. Want to see everything that's due this week? Use the "this week" view. Need to check what has to be done for the upcoming demo? Pull up the "demo" tag view.
At the end of each quarter we'll compile a report showing you how much you've accomplished, which tags were most important, and which parts of the day and week are you most productive.
One list good. More lists better. If you want to see your lists more than one at a time, you can create your own custom views to do exactly that. Make the list for your important project the focus of your view, but pull in whatever is due today, and the weekly admin list over to one side so you won't forget them.
Almost as important as seeing what is on a list is not-seeing what isn't on the list. Filtering which tasks you see means that you don't get distracted doing other things, or worse still, worrying about the other things on your plate.
Reducing distractions is also why we charge for tedium - it won't help you get your tasks done if we're distracting you with adverts.
